R.M. Williams Perth & Mandurah Store Openings
GOOD THINKING
Guide the experience, not just the service.
Hospitality can do more than offer guests something to eat or drink. When it's positioned at the right point in the customer journey, it naturally encourages people to slow down, explore a space, and engage more deeply with a brand.
A store opening is one of the few opportunities a retailer has to make a first impression.
When R.M. Williams opened its new Perth CBD store and launched its first Mandurah location, the objective wasn't simply to serve complimentary coffee. It was to create a welcoming brand experience that encouraged people to step inside, explore the new stores and discover a broader side of one of Australia's most recognised brands.
Across four activation days over two weekends, Good Perth delivered a fully customised coffee experience featuring barista-made coffee, iced lattes, native floral styling and complete brand integration. Guests were invited to browse the store before collecting their complimentary drink, creating a thoughtful customer journey rather than simply a giveaway.

The Outcome
More than 1,000 coffees were served across the two locations, with both stores exceeding expected foot traffic throughout the activation.
